Talk about a plot twist.
I’ve read A Little Life and the closer I came to the end of the story, the more I thought that I would cry. But I didn’t.
This story though.. A psychological thriller about four teenagers and their summer vacations at their families private island in Massachussetts and one summer that changes it all. An incident that causes a crucial memory loss in the main character Cadence. She is fighting hard to remember said incident without anybody telling her about it. A story between an heiress and her non-white crush. Teenage love, dumb decisions and naivety.

I give this book 5 out of 5 hangovers.
Read it back in March and I am still not over it. If you’ve read it, then you’ll understand what I mean by that.
I read it in one sitting and it was one of my best reading experiences ever. An easy and fast-paced read that got me hooked right from the beginning, so I am definitely adding this one to my list of ”books I wish I could read again for the first time”.
