candlelight concert

Yesterday, candlelight concert at Eric Ericsonhallen.

I decided to take myself out on a solo date yesterday, September 30th.

It lasted only an hour and it was a piano concert where the pianist played nothing but Coldplay’s songs.
The pianist started of with ’Clocks’ and for a second I forgot where I was and almost started shouting along with the piano. Words can’t describe how beautiful this experience was. It was fascinating, mezmerizing and just perfect. This event made me fall in love with Coldplay all over again.

Eric Ericsonhallen, formerly known as Skeppsholmskyrkan (or Skeppsholm Church) is located at the heart of Stockholm opposite Stockholm Palace by the water and you have to cross a bridge to get there. The view was spectacular as I crossed said bridge. Thank God for railings because… And I can only imagine what it would’ve looked like had it not already been dark outside. I have to go back during the summer.

The solo pianist, Gustaf Henriksson.. wow! What a talent!
