a friendly reminder to do you

Happy Sunday to you all! I hope this week has treated you very well.
It’s been alright on my end, I lost a very close family member right before Valentines Day due to COVID-19. Very sad but I get by by knowing that she lived a very long life. It just breaks my heart to know that this is the way her life had to end. But I find comfort and solace in knowing that she’s in a better place.

This event made me think of how fast life can change for us. It’s scary when you think about it. For me, I’ve never feared death. I mean, of course it would suck if I died tomorrow knowing that I still have so much that I want to do in life. But I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished so far so if my life ended tomorrow, it was all worth it.

I really don’t know what I want to convey with this post. I guess I just want to share this message with you, its never too late to be who you want to be and who you’re meant to be.

Live a life that’s comfortable to you.
A life that makes sense to you and makes YOU proud.
Romanticize your life as much as possible and add some luxury to it. If you feel like you’re not where you want to be in life, I hope you’ll find the courage to change it. Change is a very good thing and nothing you should be afraid or ashamed of doing. People will talk no matter what you do, good or bad. So, you might as well live a life that’s true to you.

Growing up is such a beautiful thing and the older you get, the less you care about people’s opinion about you. The more you’re comfortable with being exactly who you are and meant to be. What other people think of me is none of my business, I have a life to build and a life I love.

Life doesn’t end at 25 or 30. Life ends when it literally ends and that’s that.
Until then, live your life as you wish with no harm to anyone. A life that you’re excited to wake up to. A life on your own terms. NEVER forget that it’s never too late to be who you want to be. This is a friendly reminder to do you.
