with love, the birth of venus
I decided to add a new category to my blog, which be filled with and focus on art appreciation, specifically paintings.
On the first day of every month, I’ll share a painting that makes my soul smile.
Maybe I’ll write a few lines about what each painting mean to me and how they make me feel. Or maybe not. I might even take some pictures of my own that was influenced by said painting. Or not. I prefer for the art to speak for itself.
Either way, let us just appreciate their beauty.
I will always leave some links below if you’re interested in learning more about the artworks that I post here.

’The birth of Venus’ (1485)
Nascita di Venere by italian painter Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510).
Dare I say, obviously in my own humble opinion, thee most iconic piece of painting in of all art’s history.
The birth of a goddess, the goddess of love and beauty.
Since it symbolizes new hope and a new beginning, is there another perfect piece of art to kick of this new year? Even though it reminds me of spring thanks to all the beautiful and bright colours.
There is someone out there in the world that has this painting as a full wallpaper and I’m not mad at it.
